Strengthening International Cooperation through Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility
As part of the programme, prof. Nediljka Vukojević Medvidović, introduced the visitors to the research activities of the Department of Environmental Engineering, presenting ongoing research, laboratory equipment and analytical methods used in environmental engineering. The programme continued with a visit to the Department of Inorganic Technology, where assoc. prof. Damir Barbir presented the Department's research facilities, current projects and laboratory practices, enabling an exchange of expertise and experiences between the two institutions.
The visit concluded with a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty, prof. Matko Erceg, during which representatives of both institutions presented their strategic priorities, research capacities and educational activities. Particular emphasis was placed on identifying common research interests, developing future joint projects and strengthening international academic cooperation.
A major outcome of the visit was the signing of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Institute of Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Life Safety, Lviv Polytechnic National University, and the Faculty of Chemistry and Technology, University of Split. The agreement provides a framework for long-term collaboration in research, education and innovation, including the exchange of students and staff, the preparation of joint scientific projects and participation in international funding programmes. The Faculty of Chemistry and Technology is delighted to establish this new partnership and looks forward to a productive and enduring collaboration with colleagues from Lviv Polytechnic National University.
